Year of the Fire Horse Short
Year of the Fire Horse is one of the 12 Chinese Zodiac Signs. This belief is the pillar of Vietnamese culture
stretched for thousands of years, through families and our daily practices. But, to certain outsiders, our history
has become another commodity, or most recently, an internet trend.
“I’m feeling so Year of the Horse” “In a very Chinese Phase of my life right now”
“Did you know you can’t sweep the floor on the first day of Lunar New Year”
The things you say without an understanding of our complex culture is damaging,
which directly reflects the harm of commodity culture thus far.
Look at us go y’all so inspirational :’)
